The new owner Wendy is a very fair and honest person... She has evicted all the drug dealers and is remodeling each apartment one at a time. She doesnt allow tweaker zombies to roam the parking lot at night! This place may look the same on the outside, but good things have been happening on the inside for some time now. Dont judge a book by its cover!
Currently under remodel and paint at exterior...Love to see them caring on a limited budget. They take care of their tenants. Good place
I was in need of temporary housing at the time I started renting a room, but ended up staying for 2 years. I really enjoyed our room. Wendy was amazing to rent from. She is a kind hearted woman and I love the work she has done to make the place so inviting. Thanks to the hard work she does, providing cheaper housing to those in need, I was able to save money and improve my life and I am thankful and grateful for Wendy's help. Thank you Wendy! I wish the world had more people like you.
Location is great. Little ghetto, but decent size rooms
Casual living the new owner and the new manager really go out of their way to make there tenants happy. They should build more of them.
Don't listen to the bitter reviews from people who have been evicted. The owner, Wendy, is nice to a fault and gives people more chances than they usually deserve. She goes out of her way to help people and if she does have to finally evict someone she has to take a loss because she follows the law and goes through the courts. Wendy has remodeled the rooms and makes sure that everything is clean and in working order for every tenant.
The owner Wendy Hawkins is a good friend of mine. The people that have wrote bad reviews are people who are lying because they or a friend or family member got evicted. Believe me, it was their own fault. Wendy is actually to nice, giving them chance after chance They don't pay their bills, the go from place to place doing the same thing, drugs, alcohol and compulsive gamblers who trash the rooms and steal everything out of them, costing her a fortune. I could go on and on. Wendy is a soft hearted human being who really struggles with the thought of someone becoming homeless because THEY didn't pay their rent. It's simple, get off the drugs, stop lying about Wendy, grow up and pay your bills. Don't make your problems her problems. She running a business, not a homeless shelter for drug addicts. Love you Wendy, you rock.
Great place and the owner couldn't be a better person. The rooms are clean and very quiet. I would definitely recommend the Hawks Inn to my family and friends.
